EMS Careers

Welcome to the Emergency Medical Services Division of Trinitas Regional Medical Center.

We faithfully and diligently serve the community of Elizabeth, NJ and Union County as a part of Trinitas Regional Medical Center.  A staff 85 strong represent five different divisions:   Ambulance Basic Life Support, Dispatch, Mobile ICU,  SCTU - Specialty Care Transport Unit and the Institute of Health Care Education.

Trinitas Regional Medical Center is recognized as one of the nation’s top teaching hospitals, allowing our EMS staff to constantly learn and excel in their respective areas of study. Not only that, but our team is also incredibly dedicated to what they do. When polled, all of the staff members expressed a deep feeling of companionship within the staff, saying that all patients and coworkers feel like family to them.

Here’s some of what our staff say about us:
“One of the most rewarding jobs that you can have, providing both interesting and diverse environment to work in.”
“All of our staff are very well trained in what they do; they show great patient care and respect.”
“People need to know that we’re available 24/7, and that we are highly trained, compassionate, and great at what we do.”
“All members of our teaching staff have both ownership and input on the materials we use and the approaches we use in teaching.”
