Job Description

This program provides direct patient care, supervision and coordination of services for persons court mandated to comply with treatment. This position carries a case load and interacts with patients, families and works with clients who have severe and persistent mental illness, or SPMI, symptoms that require ongoing treatment and management, most often varying types and dosages of medication and therapy.

The BA Clinician provides case management to patients and families. Providing linkage to wrap around community services and in home outreach and follow up visits as well as accompanying clients to appointments as needed.

Job Requirements

B.A. or B.S. in Psychology, or related human service field required. Knowledge of motivational interviewing preferred. Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish or French Creole). Valid state driver's license in good standing required. Loss of same must be reported to Supervisor immediately. 1-2 years experience in providing case management to SPMI population required.
