TRAC-Trauma Response Assessment and Coordination Team (TRAC-Team)
TRAC is an exciting new program which is grant funded through the Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crimes
The purpose of the program is to :
-respond to the emotional and physical needs of crime victims and stabilize their lives
-assist crime victims to understand and participate in the criminal justice system
-provide crime victims with a measure of safety and security
-provide specialized services to victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault
-provide outreach as necessary
Services provided include but not limited to : Mental health counseling, trauma informed intervention, physical health ,personal advocacy, case management, etc.
As the BA Clinician:
you will be on staff to execute the LCSW’s care plan. The clinician will verify initial contact with the applicable TRAC-Team partner(s) and facilitate warm hand-offs to recommended service providers. This will include setting appointments for the recommended services at non-partner collaborators and services within TRMC. A target 72 hour window has been set for setting appointments though it will also be based on client availability. Warm hand-offs will include home visits and attending important appointments with victims for added support. The Clinician will track appointments set and kept, client satisfaction surveys and progress notes in the shared database. He/ she provide ongoing case management services for at least 60 days or as needed.
- B.A. or B.S. in Psychology, BSW, or related human service field required. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Required Valid state driver’s license in good standing required. Loss of same must be reported to Supervisor immediately.
- 1-2 years experience in providing case-management and/or clinical services in a fast-paced environment is strongly preferred. Ideal candidate has strong leadership potential: self-starter who can work independently and follow-through on tasks
