BA Mobile Response Worker

This position is located in Union County, NJ which requires working in the field in an urban/suburban area. The mobile response worker will utilize crisis De-escalation skills, conduct family interviews to stabilize the crisis, write risk assessments, develop crisis plans and make referrals to behavioral health agencies as well as to community based agencies that will provide families with additional supports. Training is provided as well as on-going education and support. This position utilizes a team work approach as well as with management.
BA in psychology, mental health or related field. Previous post bachelor’s degree experience strongly preferred. Exceptional writing and verbal skills. This is a position that requires working in the field in an urban/suburban area, utilizing a team work approach. Heavy interface with children and families, state entities, schools and behavioral health agencies strong interface with management. Bilingual in Spanish, Polish or Portuguese preferred but not required. Unencumbered current driver's license and own car required.
