TRAC-Trauma Response Assessment and Coordination Team (TRAC-Team)
TRAC is an exciting new program which is grant funded through the Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crimes
The purpose of the program is to :
-respond to the emotional and physical needs of crime victims and stabilize their lives
-assist crime victims to understand and participate in the criminal justice system
-provide crime victims with a measure of safety and security
-provide specialized services to victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault
-provide outreach as necessary
Services provided include but not limited to : Mental health counseling, trauma informed intervention, physical health ,personal advocacy, case management, etc.
As an LCSW/ Project Liaison, you will be on staff in the TRMC ED, providing prompt, thorough needs assessments for victims and their families and creating appropriate care plans that address those needs. The LCSW will be responsible for creating the initial victim data record and ensuring that the record clearly communicates clients’ needs for use by the recommended partners and service providers. He/she will ensure prompt notification to partners (if applicable) and that there is a warm handoff to the BA clinician within 24 hours of the client meeting.
Masters degree in Social Work and Licensed LCSW required.
