Job Description

A core faculty member position as Director of Primary Care is available in the Trinitas Regional Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency Program. Our three-year categorical Internal Medicine Program is currently sponsored by Seton Hall University Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Our program is fully accredited by the ACGME and has a 100% ABIM Board pass rate over the past 5 years.

As the Director of Primary Care your responsibilities will include the direct supervision of our residents medical clinic, including precepting medical clinic 4-5 afternoons a week. Other responsibilities include mentoring, coordination of performance improvements projects by residents, development of core curriculum, monthly primary care lectures, 3-4 months of teaching rounds, and interviewing potential candidates for residency. In addition, this core faculty member will work closely with the Program Director and Associate Program Director and serve on hospital and residency committees.

Job Requirements

Internal Medicine Board certification

NJ State Medical License or eligible for license

Experience in Medical Education
