Client assessment for knowledge, attitude, beliefs regarding the use of PrEP. Identify high risk individuals to determine appropriateness for use of PrEP. Assess clients intentions to initiate and comply with PrEP. Assess and identify clients access to medical care, medication, and transportation. Provide counseling regarding STD and HIV. Monitor adherence to medication regimen and medical follow up. Work collaboratively with clinical PrEP providers. Collect data and report to NJDOH as required by grant. Attend mandatory meeting for PrEP counselors. Adhere to all TRMC rules/regulations.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related field. Minimum of two (2) years experience as an HIV Tester/Counselor. Preferably Bi-lingual Spanish (strongly preferred).
