As a Speech Therapist, under the general supervision of the Director of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation and according to professional standards evaluates, plans and executes and accurately documents the patient's treatment program. Performs examinations in a timely manner and consistent with department policy and coordinates with the team, patient and family to develop both a short term and long term goal directed program which is reflective of reflects the needs of patients identified in the examination. Provides treatment that includes but is not limited to; Speech Therapy / Swallowing examinations; Participation and reporting of MBS examinations; Patient/staff/Parent Education; Other treatment as defined within the scope of legal practice.
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited program. Current New Jersey License in Speech/Langauge Pathology or eligible. 1 year experience preferred.
