Job Description

The programs served in Substance Abuse are:

PH, (Partial Hospital) is 5 days per week, usually patients are admitted after inpatient stay, ER visit, however, there are some direct admits. IOP ( Intensive Outpatient Program), : usually patients meet 3 days per week, 3 hours per day.

IOP and PH both include groups, medication management and case management

OP ( Outpatient Program). OP: Patients meet anywhere from 1 time per week to 1 time per month. Consists of aftercare groups and medication management if needed.

As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will perform the following:

1. Facilitate groups 2. Individual Sessions 3. Case Management

This position would be under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.

Job Requirements

NJ LCADC required. Masters degree in mental health or related field required. (1) year working with an addictions population. All new hires who are in recovery must attest to having one year of sobriety and abstinence. In addition, all new hires are required to sign an Affidavit of Recovery. Must comply with TRMC paid state-level criminal history record background check supported by fingerprint check prior to hire.
